Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed
Job DescriptionWe are actively looking for an experienced and motivated Body Shop Technician to join our team. This position involves a range of responsibilities including collision repair, paint preparation, panel alignment, and vehicle reassembly. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in auto body repair and be committed to delivering safe, high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and reassemble damaged vehicles for repair
- Align panels and components to factory specifications
- Prepare parts and vehicles for paint, including sanding and masking
- Mix paint to match OEM color codes and apply finishes as needed
- Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a professional finish
- Perform final detailing on completed repairs
- Road test vehicles to verify proper repair quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with dealership and OSHA standards
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and protocols
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Body Shop Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ICAR and/or ASE certifications preferred, not required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Familiarity with industry-standard repair tools and equipment
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a physically active role
