Internal Medicine - Critical Care Physician

Located in Lima, Ohio, this facility is an established medical center dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare. The practice includes a 425-bed hospital and an 18-bed closed ICU, offering a supportive environment for critical care physicians. • Care for 18-24 critically ill patients in an inpatient setting.
• Perform weekend coverage including Friday evening/night call and Saturday/Sunday day rounds.
• Supervise and support health care providers involved in teaching IM, FM, and EM residents.
• Manage ventilation procedures: invasive and non-invasive methods.
• Perform required medical procedures, including central line insertion, arterial line insertion, and diagnostic taps (paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture).
• Utilize Epic as the documentation system for efficient record-keeping.
• Collaborate on care plans with fellow critical care physicians and residents.
• Engage in a varied practice setting encompassing cardiac, neuro, trauma, medical, and surgical cases.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care (Pulmonary or any variation preferred).
• Active Ohio State License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Availability to indicate specific times for work commitments.
• COVID vaccination highly preferred.
• Flu vaccine required at time of credentialing.

• Must possess a valid Ohio State Medical License.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Critical Care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
