Critical Care​/Trauma Physician

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Critical Care Physician in Lima, OH.

Shift: Nights (Friday 5 PM - Saturday 5 AM, Saturday 5 PM - Sunday 5 AM)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: Ongoing

• Patient Population: ICU patients (18-bed closed ICU)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Responsibilities:
  • Round on 18-24 critically ill patients with APC and IM/FM/EM residents
  • Provide critical care coverage during weekend shifts
  • Supervise residents and APCs during night shifts
• Required Procedures:
  • Ventilation Management (Invasive & Non-Invasive)
  • Central Line, Arterial Line, PA Catheter Insertion
  • Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Lumbar Puncture
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: APCs, IM/FM/EM residents
• Days Per Month: 1-2 weekends per month based on availability
• On-Call/Weekends: Required

• Travel reimbursement available (economy class bookings)
• Lodging covered up to $150 per night (approval required for higher costs)

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (Pulmonary Critical Care preferred, but any Critical Care trained physician accepted)
• Ohio State License Required
• BLS/ACLS Certification Required
• COVID Vaccination Highly Preferred
• Flu Vaccine Required at time of credentialing
