We are looking for a dedicated Temp - Supervisor to oversee our Central Sterile Processing department during evening shifts. In this vital position, you will ensure the safe and efficient sterilization of surgical tools and medical equipment, directly supporting patient care and hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Central Sterile Processing department, ensuring compliance with industry standards, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and lead sterile processing staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate inventory control, material resource management, and oversee the processing of patient charges.
• Collaborate with Infection Control, Risk Management, and Safety departments to enforce policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing education, retraining, and in-service opportunities for staff.
• Stay informed on emerging trends, technology, and best practices in sterilization and healthcare safety.
• Manage FDA/Manufacturer recall notices and ensure timely follow-up within the facility.
• Uphold quality standards and support hospital objectives in maintaining seamless surgical and clinical operations.

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Prior experience supervising sterile processing or similar healthcare support departments.
• Knowledge of hospital regulatory standards and accreditation processes.
• Familiarity with tracking and managing recalls or safety notices in a healthcare setting.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Relevant certification or licensure in sterile processing or healthcare management.
• Previous supervisory experience in a hospital or sterile processing environment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in sterile processing or perioperative services.

• Must be available for evening shifts, with some flexibility around start and end times.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
