Job SummaryThe Supervisor, Paramedic is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations during the shift, including scheduling, handling complaints, supervising all staff, and ensuring proper patient care is provided. The user will provide medical care and transportation of emergency and non‑emergency patients at the Paramedic level of care defined by the State EMS scope of practice.
Essential Functions- Handles issues regarding fleet maintenance and ensures preventative maintenance is performed.
- Ensures availability of resources for daily operations and assists in tactical deployment to meet system needs.
- Assists with the investigative process for handling and reviewing incidents and issues.
- Participates with the Management Team in progressing the organization forward.
- Receives, handles, and routes inter‑agency disputes/issues to the appropriate resource.
- Provides patient/client follow‑up.

Education- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (required within 6 months of hire)
- Associate degree (preferred)
- American Heart Association ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required)
- American Heart Association PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required)
- Current paramedic‑level certification in state of practice (required)
- Valid State Driver’s License (required)
- 3 Years Of Paramedic Experience (required)
