Job Summary

A member of the Maintenance Department responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment. This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position.

Compensation & Incentives

Competitive wages based on experience. Additional paid relief days, $1,000 sign‑on bonus, and eligibility for other incentives.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing and maintaining industrial buildings and machinery.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Possibly fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Welding, brazing and cutting (shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, oxy‑fuel).
• General plant maintenance.
• Perform department duties as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work any shift.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Capable of lifting and handling 50 lbs.
• Exposed to seasonal temperature changes.
• Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous mechanical or construction experience a plus.
• Welding skills a plus.
• Millwright apprenticeship program required.
• Machining background required.
• Fabrication experience required.
