Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Obstetrics

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Obstetrics position requiring 2+ years of OB experience and a prior travel assignment.

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Minimum 2 years of OB experience required
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Ability to function as 1st assist and scrub OB highly preferred
• Skills checklist pertinent to OB/GYN specialty, current within 1 year, required for consideration

• Work in the Obstetrics unit of a hospital setting
• Uses Medi Tech EMR
• Varied 12-hour shifts (3P-3A and 3A-3P), negotiable with discussion prior to acceptance
• Required to work every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to units within scope of practice and skill set
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
• Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries
• Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes
• No holiday RTO will be accepted
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Local candidates within a 45-mile radius of the facility are accepted at a reduced travel rate
