Overview
Sam's Club is hiring for a member assistant – cart attendant. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. You will be on your feet and on the go, in all weather, helping members with purchases, keeping the parking lot and carts ready, and assisting with loading vehicles.
Base pay range$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
What you’ll doEnsures club pick up orders are filled by contacting members to notify when pickup time is delayed; informing members when products are unavailable; offering alternative product options; ensuring items are selected and packaged according to company policies; ensuring items are dispensed when members arrive for pickup; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company’s products and services.
Maintains safety of facility according to company policies; conducts safety sweeps; follows procedures for handling merchandise; reports unsafe situations to facility management.
Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; processing member purchases; assisting with payments according to policies for different membership and payment types; operating cash registers; locating and organizing merchandise; zoning designated areas; resolving member issues and concerns; promoting products and services; organizing and maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds; assisting with transporting items; using cart retrieval equipment as required;
maintaining parking lot cleanliness.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; adapting to change and feedback.
