Product Demonstrator (Part Time) – 6375
Product Connections is seeking a Product Demonstrator to perform in‑store demonstrations for food and non‑food categories. This role is part‑time, typically not more than 25 hours per week.
OverviewAs the Associate, you will complete in‑store demonstrations, maintain product knowledge, prepare and serve samples, intercept customers, and present the products in a professional manner. You will also maintain a clean, sterile work station, set up event tables, and manage expense reports and online submissions.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the products.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workspace using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100 % execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the day of event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device, navigating applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read, stoop, kneel, squat, climb stairs, balance, lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and contact cleaning supplies.
Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming; proper retailer dress code.
