As a Security Officer – Chemical Access Control in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security‑related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires you to interact with employees and visitors, verify credentials, and maintain a professional presence.

• Monitor and control access to the location to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain the integrity of restricted areas.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site‑specific guidelines.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security‑related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem‑solving manner, following established emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter potential security‑related risks and support site operations.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by assisting with inquiries and explaining site‑specific policies and procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
