A maintenance mechanic who rigs, installs, services, moves and dismantles equipment and machinery and performs such other work as not specifically designated under other maintenance classifications. Includes moving and locating machines and equipment according to floor plans; installing, rearranging and removing overhead line shafting, mechanical handling systems, hoists, etc. Starting Wage: $42.83/hr location:
Lima, OH.

• Use tools and equipment such as drill presses, power saws, chain falls, jacks, skids, slings, burning torches, and other portable and hand tools.
• Plan, layout, and complete work with minimum supervision; may be assisted by helpers.
• Handle and manage hazardous waste from time to time.
• Assist with other maintenance tasks not specifically designated.

• Journeyman with a 4‑year State‑approved apprenticeship or eight years of documented experience in the trade.
• Ability to work any shift.
• Must be U.S. Citizen; must successfully complete pre‑employment process including drug screen and background check.
• Must obtain Department of Army Police unescorted access.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Must satisfy skills test – including vision, audio, respirator clearance, physical.

• Must be able to lift greater than 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work aloft; comfortable with heights.
• Must wear personal protective equipment, including respirator.
• Climb ladders, stairs, and equipment; work in confined spaces.
• Work on uneven surfaces, in inclement weather, in high noise, dust, and fumes.
• Potential for overtime and off‑shift work.
