Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
- Perform maintenance, emergency service, and after‑hours on‑call rotations.
- Accurately document all service details using company‑provided iPads.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
- Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
- Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to maintain schedule and communicate delays.
- Participate in company‑provided training opportunities and certify as required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician.
- EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics and work plans.
- Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.
- Ability to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28–32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks.
- Maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity.
- Stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day.
- Use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously.
- Operate work‑related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers.
- Travel to customer sites as needed; occasionally work in an office environment.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures.
