Accounts Payable Specialist (Fixed Term Contract 15-18 Months) Mid-Ulster Area | Fixed-Term Contract An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well-established and growing business based in the Mid-Ulster area.

This role offers the chance to work within a busy finance function, supporting key financial processes while gaining exposure to wider accounting and reporting activities.

The Role As part of the finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function while supporting broader financial operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records. Preparing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs. Managing employee expense claims and ensuring policy compliance. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities. Preparing VAT returns and supporting statutory reporting requirements. Maintaining fixed asset records and processing intercompany transactions. Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including audit preparation. Collaborating with wider finance teams and supporting continuous improvement projects.

What You'll Need Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Previous accounts payable or finance experience. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Full UK driving licence.
