Management Accountant - PART TIME

Part-Time Management Accountant Approximately 24 hours per week (office-based) A successful and well-established business based in Hinckley is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial reporting and financial management of the business. Reporting directly to senior management, you will provide accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions and ensure the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts Production and maintenance of cash flow forecasts Budget preparation and monitoring against actual performance Preparation of management reports and financial analysis for senior management Support the year-end accounting process and preparation of statutory accounts Liaise with external auditors and manage audit requirements Balance sheet reconciliations and review of key financial controls Monitoring business performance and highlighting variances and trends Assist with financial planning and forecasting activities Provide financial support and insight to the wider management team Candidate Requirements Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance position Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience Experience supporting year-end statutory accounts and audits Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Strong attention to detail and analytical skills What's on Offer Part-time position of approximately 24 hours per week Office-based role in Hinckley Opportunity to join a successful and financially stable business Broad and varied finance role with responsibility across the accounting function Salary £50k to £55k DOE pro rata
