Mechanical Design Manager

MCS Group is recruiting a Mechanical Design Manager for our client, a rapidly growing engineering business at a pivotal stage of expansion. This role will be based in Limavady. Are you a Mechanical Design Manager who can lead and develop a growing design team within a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment? This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you will help shape processes, influence product development, and drive engineering standards as the business scales.

You will lead the delivery of high-quality mechanical design solutions across live projects, working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and project teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and production ready. The successful candidate:
Strong background in mechanical design within manufacturing or engineering

Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, and design for manufacture Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment Why Join?
