Financial Controller

We're partnering with a leading engineering business to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to join their growing team.

As part of the company's continued growth, this newly created position will report directly to the Finance Director and play a key role in the finance function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, maintaining a robust financial control environment, and delivering timely, accurate financial information to support both operational performance and strategic decision-making.

The role includes:

Leading the monthly management accounts and financial reporting process

Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring statutory compliance

Partnering with Manufacturing, Operations and Commercial teams

Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting

Overseeing inventory, standard costing and manufacturing finance

Leading and developing a small finance team while driving continuous improvement

We're looking for:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

Experience as a Financial Controller or a senior finance leadership role

Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector experience

Knowledge of management accounting, reporting and ERP systems

A commercially minded leader who enjoys partnering with the wider business
