This is a broad and varied role with responsibility across management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cashflow, payroll, VAT, financial reporting and transactional finance. The successful candidate will also support KPI reporting, commercial decision-making, process improvement and the ongoing development of the wider finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant looking to take ownership of a broad finance role within a growing organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, commentary and variance analysis Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management Preparation of KPI and performance reporting Oversight of sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and credit control End-to-end payroll and HMRC submissions Preparation and submission of VAT returns Year-end accounts preparation and liaison with external advisors Cost and activity analysis to support commercial decision-making Developing and improving finance systems, processes and internal controls Managing, mentoring and supporting the finance team Other ad-hoc duties as required Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience Minimum 3-4 years relevant finance experience Strong management accounting experience
