About you 3 years' experience in purchasing within a construction environment Proven understanding of procurement processes, especially in subcontract packages Proficient in Microsoft Office; IT literate Excellent communication and negotiation skills Well-organised, proactive, and confident in managing multiple priorities Capable of working independently and as part of a team Flexible regarding site locations within the UK & Ireland Hold the right to work in the UK What you'll do Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract packages to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, including onboarding new vendors Identify potential supply issues early and communicate risks to project teams Support supplier verification, validation, and performance management processes Drive cost savings initiatives through process improvements and alternative sourcing Ensure all purchase requisitions and orders are processed efficiently and accurately Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain traceability For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Mid Ulster or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact James McIntosh for a confidential discussion IND
