Chip Shop Fryer

The Chip Shop Fryer is responsible for cooking, preparing and packaging fried food to a high standard, ensuring food quality, consistency, and safety while working efficiently.

• Fry chips, fish, and other menu items according to our high standards
• Maintain correct oil temperature and frying times
• Ensure food is cooked safely and to a consistent quality
• Keep frying area clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards
• Monitor oil quality and report when changes are required
• Assist with basic food preparation and stock rotation
• Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations

• Previous experience in a chip shop or fast-food environment preferred (training can be provided)
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Physically able to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment

This role will be Monday-Friday, although occasionally there might be a requirement to work one day at the weekend (to cover other team member holidays).
