Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions.
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide customer service, answering questions and offering support with medication use.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical conduct at all times.
- Participate in the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and meet licensing, registration, and certification requirements.
- Follow workplace health and safety protocols, including receiving required COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Licensure requirements vary by state.
- Strong attention to detail and focus.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical reasoning skills.
- Problem resolution abilities.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- PTCB National Certification.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Repetitive use of fingers, hands, and arms.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Maintaining visual acuity for tasks such as writing and reading small print.
- Annual pay range: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour.
- Part‑time position, 29 hours per week.
