Job Title:
Social Worker

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families? Our reputable staffing agency is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join a dynamic team in a healthcare facility. In this role, you will:

• Assessment and Counseling: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the psychosocial needs of patients and develop tailored care plans. Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families.
• Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their rights and needs are met within the healthcare system.
• Resource Coordination:
  Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community agencies to coordinate necessary resources and services for patients.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during difficult times.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Education: Educate patients and families about available resources, coping strategies, and community support.

Travel:
Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle used - IRS standard 0.64 per mile.

Any training is paid.

Paid holidays include:
New Years Eve and New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, ½ day for Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after (Black Friday), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW)
• Proven experience as a Social Worker in a healthcare or related setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing social work practice
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Certified Social Worker (CSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred

LPC, LMSW, LLP, or the respective limited license
