University Home Care is looking for RNs with home care experience in cites downriver surrounding Lincoln Park, Michigan.
Description of the roleThe Skilled RN will provide top-quality care and assistance to patients in their homes. They will perform various nursing duties, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan
- 1 year of home care experience as an RN (REQUIRED)
- Proven experience as an RN in a clinical setting
- Excellent clinical and assessment and documentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Current BLS certification
- Access to reliable transportation
