Lincoln Park Healthcare Campus is currently seeking Full-Time Porters for 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts. Must be able to work every other weekend.

Base pay is $15.40/hr, based on skills and experience. Discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Proficiency in English required for effective communication. Some housekeeping experience helpful but not necessary.

• Sweep and mop corridors and resident rooms, following safety precautions.
• Buff floors as scheduled; strip, wax, and buff rooms and public areas.
• Remove trash and transport to dumpster safely.
• Clean walls, elevator tracks, restrooms, and porter closets.
• Respond to fire alarms and change light bulbs.
• Unclog toilets and assist with housekeeping/laundry deliveries.
• Follow infection control procedures and assist other department areas as directed.
• Maintain organized supplies and reorder as needed.

• Handle stressful situations effectively.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, and move intermittently.
• Good vision and hearing or use of prosthetics to enable these senses.
• Ability to relate and work with residents facing physical and emotional challenges.
