• Create a climate for healing by planning and providing comfort measures.
• Advocate for patients and families, providing information and goal‑setting opportunities.
• Teach and coach patients, identifying readiness and implementing individualized teaching plans.
• Interpret and diagnose changes in patient condition, plan interventions, and document outcomes.
• Administer medications accurately and safely, and document according to the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health‑care team members to determine appropriate interventions.
• Participate in unit performance improvement meetings and contribute to quality practices.

• Active valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Basic Life Support CPR through American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support through American Heart Association
• At least one year of oncology experience
• Preferred:
  Previous acute care nursing experience
• Preferred:
  Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate
• Preferred:
  Oncology Certified Nurse
