Responsibilities

The role involves clinical and administrative duties, including:

  • Fulfilling all responsibilities of the Patient Care Specialist role
  • Maintaining friendly relations with colleagues and patients
  • Supporting the team and adhering to policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations like HIPAA
  • Preparing exam rooms, triaging patients, assisting with lab testing and procedures, managing supplies, and supporting virtual care
  • Completing patient charts accurately and timely
  • Arranging referrals and pre-authorizations
  • Performing federal and non-federal exams
  • Maintaining cleanliness and supporting team needs

Additional duties include clerical tasks, verifying insurance, and answering calls.

Experience and Education Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic, preferably in a clinic or urgent care setting
