Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Supply Chain Delivery Assistant Manager in Lincoln, AL. You will coordinate buyers and technical leads across frame components, mitigating delivery downtime risks and driving business plan cost-reduction themes across North American suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of 5-10 purchasing buyers and technical leads in managing supplier delivery operations.
- Proactively resolve supplier delivery disruptions to eliminate assembly plant downtime and GDP losses.
- Execute Supply Chain Delivery business plan themes, budgets, and monthly operational KPIs.
- Benchmark with other North American Honda frame plants to identify and execute supply chain cost savings.
- Direct supplier design change compensation negotiations to mitigate financial exposure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Data Analytics.
- 8+ years of progressive supply chain, purchasing, or manufacturing logistics experience.
- Proven leadership managing teams of buyers, resolving critical supply chain crises, and managing budgets.
- High sensitivity for abnormal operating conditions, root cause analysis, and PDCA continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel to suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
