Summary Prepares journal entries, reconciliations, and reports for various functions within the accounting department.
Responsibilities- Facilitates and completes monthly close procedures.
- Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconciles cash accounts, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounts as assigned.
- Identifies, researches, and explains account fluctuations within the income statement and balance sheet to management.
- Reviews vendor invoices to verify the accuracy of relevant information, identify errors, correct errors, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyzes the performance and profitability of various customers and relay these results to management on a monthly basis.
- Assists with external financial audit and tax audits as needed.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
