Description of WorkServe as primary accountant for day‑to‑day fixed asset transactions. Work with the Inventory Department to process fixed assets for capitalization, including identification and coding of fabricated equipment, ensuring that assets are maintained in a consistent and timely manner. In addition, process bond reimbursements, perform various financial reconciliations and prepare work study billings. Also provide audit work paper support and assist as needed with other accounting duties.
MinimumRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration or closely related field plus two years relevant professional accounting experience required. Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP or similar ERP system are essential. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; organizational and analytical skills are necessary.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. Knowledge of cost or fixed asset accounting desirable. Quick Books and tax experience preferred. Experience in a university or higher education helpful with a CPA or an MBA.
Additional RequirementsCommercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre‑employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.

Posted Salary: $60,000/yr. minimum
