Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs basic automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and light vehicle maintenance. They assist with customer transportation, parts pickup, and shop cleanliness. No prior experience is required; training is provided while paid.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct tire mounting/dismounting, balancing, and rotation
- Perform oil changes and basic vehicle services
- Utilize inspection and repair documentation to assess vehicle condition
- Maintain shop cleanliness and safety procedures
- Drive vehicles safely, obey traffic laws, and transport customers or parts
- Follow safety protocols and report concerns
- Work flexibly, including some Saturdays
- Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum age of 18, high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical &
Working Conditions:
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in varying temperatures with protective gear as needed. Exposure to noise, fumes, and hazardous materials is possible. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
