Position SummaryWe are seeking a Superintendent to lead crews on underground utility projects. The role includes managing employees, equipment, subcontractors, and materials, and working closely with estimators and project managers to plan and execute the entire project in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities- Plan, diagram, and lay‑out work; ensure project specifics are acquired before work begins.
- Develop a thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, and schedules; review with crews to ensure proper execution.
- Examine and inspect field conditions to identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost‑saving opportunities; take corrective action as needed.
- Inspect work for compliance with contract plans and specifications; point out deficiencies and take corrective action.
- Track and capture quantities completed; review for accuracy.
- Identify safety hazards and take necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
- Plan and coordinate purchasing of materials to ensure an adequate supply of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor quality of work, ensuring correct construction procedures are followed and work complies with plans and specifications.
- Monitor productivity rates and review with crew.
- Manage crew to maintain or exceed productivity requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of scheduling, material control, and unit man‑hour performance.
- Produce quality work that meets plan, specification, and industry standards to prevent re‑work.
- Perform other job‑specific duties as requested by owners.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Combination of technical training and/or experience.
- 15–20 years of supervisory experience in similar construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and group supervision.
- Current, valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full‑time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $ per year
