POSITION SUMMARY
The Traffic Coordinator is the direct link between our creative team and our merchandising and marketing departments. This position establishes and maintains communication with all internal departments involved to ensure projects meet expectations and deadlines. Our Traffic Coordinators monitor all stages of the process for digital projects, signage, flyers, ads, catalogs, and a variety of other projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Inputs new project files in the workflow management database.
- Reviews merchant/requester provided information for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinates revised information into workflow cycle upon receipt to production, photography, samples, design, and copywriters.
- Provides print specifications and deadlines.
- Coordinates proofs.
- Oversees established procedures are followed. Communicate essential information to all appropriate individuals.
- Serves as a back up to other traffickers.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
- Minimum Degree
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, project management or another related field. - Preferred Experience:
2+ years of comparable experience in a high volume, art production environment or other project management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal communication and ability to work well with others.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of a creative department.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of Workfront a plus.
- Regularly performs computer work and sits.
- Occasionally walks and stands.
- Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.
- Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
