Insurance Risk Interviewer

Synectics Inc. is seeking an Insurance Risk Interviewer to complete life insurance medical and financial interviews via telephone outbound calls for multiple client companies.

Responsibilities
  • Complete life insurance medical and financial interviews via telephone outbound calls.
  • Place outbound calls to contact life insurance applicants.
  • Complete interview with applicant or leave a message for a return call.
  • Gather medical, financial, occupational, and avocation histories during interview.
  • Review and edit information collection during the interview for quality assurance purposes.
  • Use the C4 call management system, Dialer, and Avaya Phone System to make telephone calls.
  • Log call attempts, document information with orders as necessary and record call results.
  • Learn the specific requirements stipulated by each client company.
  • Respond to the needs and requests of clients, staff and management in a professional and expedited manner.
  • Observe all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual or other special trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the business needs or customer requirements.
  • Work in a production-based and revenue-generating call center.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Life Insurance, Medical Terminology, and Customer Service is preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to be on the phone and provide great customer service, as this is a concierge level of service.
  • Shift/Time Zone Preferences:
    • 7am-4pm CST
    • 8am-5pm CST
    • 9am-6pm CST

  • 401(k) Plan: The Synectics Inc. Investment Savings Retirement Plan. Employees age 21+ may invest on the first enrollment date at least 30 days after employment begins. Enrollment dates:
    January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1.
  • Technical Certification Bonus: Up to $500 for an approved professional certification related to the current position. Awarded 90 days after confirmation of successful completion. One bonus per calendar year.
