Position Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Lincoln Southeast
Position begins: 2nd Semester
Lincoln Southeast is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2nd semester of the 25-26 school year.
Lincoln Public Schools is seeking a candidate with a commitment to excellence in education. Candidate will possess an ability to establish a strong classroom environment that supports highly engaging instruction. Candidate will need to work collaboratively with multiple team members.
Responsibilities- Establish a strong classroom environment that supports highly engaging instruction and collaborative work with multiple team members.
- Demonstrate exceptional instructional and classroom management skills, and use assessment to drive instruction.
- Provide quality feedback to all learners and support learning within a culturally rich school environment.
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
- Effective communication skills and strong academic/curriculum knowledge.
- Ability to use assessment to drive instruction and provide feedback to learners.
- Desire to teach in a culturally rich school environment; ability to build relationships with all students.
- Reflective educator who understands and applies practices of cultural proficiency with students, staff and families.
Ability to create strong relationships with all students; effective communication skills; daily use of assessment to drive instruction and quality feedback to all learners; willingness to serve the community in all aspects; learner in the art and science of teaching; a reflective educator, an individual who understands the practices of cultural proficiency and applies those practices with students, staff and families.
