Job Description
The Title I Part C Specialist is responsible for providing communication and educational support to help ESU 18 migrant-verified students be successful in their educational experiences. The position will work closely with schools and the Title I Part C Suervisor to evaluate and monitor migratory student needs and assist with identifying and aligning direct services to these students as outlined in the Title I Part C Service Delivery Plan Outcomes.
The Title I Part C Specialist will travel to schools and homes in southeast Nebraska making daily contact with migrant students and their families, building principals, teachers, social workers and counselors.
Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to educational equity.
Bilingual preferred:
English and (Karen, Spanish, or Vietnamese)
