Overview

Operations Technical Training Supervisor  training manager is responsible for developing training programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives. They must identify the training needs of employees and design programs that address these needs.

Responsibilities
  • Create training materials such as presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules. Materials should be engaging, informative, and effective in conveying the necessary information to employees.
  • Deliver training programs to employees through classroom, on-the-job, or online formats.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by collecting feedback and using it to improve future initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee training, including which employees completed programs and when.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure training aligns with organizational needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in employee training and development; participate in conferences or workshops for professional growth.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Training.
  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Education, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and technology.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in using training software and learning management systems.
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience).
Physical and Environmental
  • No Special Physical Requirements
  • No environmental demands
  • Travel time required: 10%
