Elementary Music Instructor

Are you a passionate music educator dedicated to fostering creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love of music? Centura Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Elementary Music Educator to join our team for the spring semester of the 2026/2027 school year and beyond.

We are currently seeking candidates that are passionate about building a foundation with young learners. We are currently accepting applications for candidates specializing in Elementary Music Educator Focus on fostering a love for music in our youngest learners.

Curriculum:

Lead general music classes for elementary students, focusing on vocal development, rhythm, movement, and music theory basics.

Performance:

Direct elementary-level seasonal programs and school events.

Goal:

To instill confidence and a strong musical foundation that prepares students for secondary-level participation.

What We Are Looking For Certification:

Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with the appropriate K-12 Music endorsement or willing to obtain. Student teachers are encouraged to apply. Will consider filling the position with a long term substitute until we find the right candidate.

Expertise:

Deep knowledge of your chosen specialty (either vocal/general pedagogy or secondary instrumental techniques).Passion:
