Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for engineering projects. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.

Required:

associate's degree and 5-7 years of experience. Engineering degree required.

Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
• Solves complex problems
• Works independently, receives minimal guidance
• May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on‑going activities or objectives
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
• Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

• Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
• Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
• Provides technical support for the engineering process.
• Designs, implements, and communicates an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
• Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
• Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
• Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.

• Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience
• Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required
• Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Analytical thinking. Design review. Project engineering. Resource planning. Technical project management. Computer‑Aided Engineering (CAE) software. Project management software.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
