Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. is a growing multi-disciplined civil engineering firm in search of a Bridge Design Engineer based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our reputation in the local engineering and construction industries is second to none, and we are seeking individuals that will help us grow, while maintaining that reputation.

Responsibilities- Project and staff management
- Customer relations
- Complete plan development and design on a variety of bridge and roadway improvement projects
- Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of bridge designs
- Structural plan and detail development for various types of bridges
- Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce bridge design plans and additional documents
- Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers
- Adhere to strict quality control requirements
- Applicants with a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering are preferred
- 3 or more years of experience in bridge design
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or ability to become licensed within 6 months
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel if required
- Experience with Micro Station, LEAP Bridge, Midas Civil;
Civil 3D desirable - AASHTO LRFD code preferred
Applicants have obtained BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, and 3 or more years of experience in bridge design. Additionally, applicants should be a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or have to ability to become licensed within 6-months. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.
