Job Description

Join Olsson’s Federal Engineering & Design Team as a Project Civil Engineer. At Olsson, you’ll play a key role in shaping projects that support military bases, VA campuses, and other vital government facilities. Join a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to delivering innovative, site/civil engineering solutions that meet rigorous federal standards and exceed client expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Develop detailed planning and design documents, technical specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality project outcomes.
  • Ensure all designs meet UFC, DoD, VA, and other federal regulations and standards.
  • Support proposal development and actively participate in federal RFP responses.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, guiding projects from concept through completion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in civil/site design, ideally with federal clients.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
  • Deep understanding of DoD, VA, and federal design standards and processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to coordinate complex projects.
Why Join Us
  • Contribute to projects that serve national interests and make a difference in communities.
  • Enjoy flexible work arrangements, including remote options, to support your work-life balance.
  • Thrive in a supportive culture that values professional development and teamwork.

At Olsson, your expertise drives progress on projects that matter. If you’re passionate about federal civil engineering and ready to elevate your career, we want to hear from you.
