As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will play a vital role in optimizing our production environment by enhancing manufacturing workflows, driving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality standards. You will leverage your technical expertise to support cross-functional teams in delivering safe, cost-effective, and scalable operational solutions.

You will leverage your technical expertise to support cross-functional teams in delivering safe, cost-effective, and scalable operational solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain essential production documentation, including process flows, control plans, and PFMEAs.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process waste and leading Lean initiatives such as Kaizen events and value stream mapping.
- Design and implement custom tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to boost production efficiency and safety.
- Perform root-cause analysis to resolve quality issues and optimize equipment performance.
- Support new product introductions by verifying manufacturability and ensuring process readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage engineering changes and ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct statistical data collection and capability studies to inform data-driven process enhancements.
- Assist in the specification, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of APQP, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling and technical drafting.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production documentation.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with manufacturing codes such as ASME or UL/ISO standards.
- Proven experience in change management or document control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to track and report cost-savings metrics.
- Experience with hands-on Gemba participation and shop-floor troubleshooting.
