Support the Non Destructive Testing department. Under the supervision of the NDT Level 3 or Level 2 duties would include:
Perform Computed Radiography Inspections. Perform Ultrasonic Inspections (A-Scan & C-Scan). Perform Penetrant Inspections. Interfacing as required with Engineering, Manufacturing and Production personnel. Helping to solve manufacturing problems from NDT results.

• Working towards completion of an Associate Degree in Non Destructive Testing.
• Completed Radiation Safety training through an approved curriculum that meets the requirements of the Department of Health and Human Services for the State of Nebraska.
• This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.

Any intern or co‑op working at a GD‑OTS location.

• Provides support to technical employees working in an organizational function related to the Intern's area of study.
• Assists with technical tasks and project support.
• Supports equipment set up and monitors tests and experiments.
• Observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports.
• Learns technical processes and procedures.
• Job shadows other more experienced professionals and or support staff.
