Position: Production Technician - Mid-Week (full-time)

Description

The Mid-Week Production Technician is responsible for executing production support at both a service/event and infrastructure level. This role will be involved with a variety of technical disciplines and be a strong influencer into the various ministries and volunteer teams throughout the church.

We are looking for someone with the ability to understand the entirety of both the Worship & Production Departments scopes and implement them into specific ministry areas as needed. This role will require strong task-management skills to continually evaluate services and event timelines with the changing seasons of the church.

Personal Responsibilities
  • Be committed to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2) by assembling for instruction in God’s Word and engaging in the personal study of God’s Word.
  • Responsibly use the resources at your disposal to foster the mission and vision of Abundant Life (1 Peter 5:1-4).
  • Participate in an Abundant Life group (Acts 2:41-42) as well as the discipleship ministry (Matthew 28:18-20).
  • Live in a way that glorifies God and aligns with the staff core values (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9).
  • Be committed to giving to the needs of the saints (2 Corinthians 8:1-7 & 9:12).
  • Become a member of Abundant Life.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all LST Campus production equipment is maintained and managed.
  • Develop a long-term sustainable workflow for staff and volunteers to maintain equipment.
  • Act as the team lead for Fusion and Paradigm from LST including scheduling, training, and personal development.
  • Work with ministry leaders and LST Technical Director to continue meeting ministry needs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies within the industry to assist in further ministry development.
  • Enlist, train, and develop leaders for the Production Department of Abundant Life for the Fusion and Paradigm Ministries specifically.
  • Attend weekly meetings with various leadership teams.
  • Oversee the execution of live streaming midweek services from the LST campus working closely with the Online Campus Pastor.
  • Work with LST Technical Director to provide an annual budget for board approval.
  • Attend weekly meetings as requested.
  • On-Call weekends (1 week/month rotation).
  • Help facilitate large weekend events (Worship Nights, Revival, Conferences, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as requested by the LST Technical Director.
Requirements

This position requires a team player who is motivated to strive for excellence in all things. Success in this role demands someone that is a high-caliber leader of volunteers who values relationships and uses effective communication skills to teach, inspire, motivate, and mentor others. The Production Technician must be highly organized with the ability to be task-oriented and hit deadlines on a consistent basis.

Experience Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in live events/production environments.
  • Programming and execution experience with large format digital audio console (specifically Yamaha CL), large lighting rigs and programming (Grand

    MA), and video (Ross, Black Magic, Pro Presenter, etc.).
  • Advanced understanding of audio and video signal flow.
  • Solid knowledge of lighting and electrical systems.

  • Non-traditional workweek with frequent evening responsibilities.
