  • Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for corporate and production audits, collaborating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, macros, formulas, Power Query) for reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain and enhance ERP‑based workflows; drive efficiency improvements in Sage Intacct and related reporting systems.
  • Partner with Production Finance, FP&A, and Business Affairs teams to align financial reporting with active project performance.
  • Support special projects, including process automation, system integrations, and implementation of new accounting standards.
Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within entertainment, media, or production environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • ERP proficiency, Sage Intacct strongly preferred; experience with systems such as Net Suite, Oracle, or Dynamics a plus.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities with proven ability to model, analyze, and reconcile complex financial data.
  • Demonstrated experience in audit preparation and financial compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with both finance and creative teams.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and adaptable to shifting production and corporate priorities.
Preferred Attributes
  • CPA certification (or progress toward CPA).
  • Experience with production accounting, participations, or royalty reporting.
  • Passion for the entertainment industry and a desire to contribute to creative‑driven financial operations.
