- Answers the telephone
- Communicates messages through email or Epic
- Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments
- Collects patient copayments
- Makes appointment reminder calls
- Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate
- Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients’ electronic chart
- Provides backup for other positions and functions in the medical office (records, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, etc.) and floats between multiple locations as assigned
