We’re looking for a compassionate and empathetic Caregiver to join our team! This role is for awake overnight shifts. This role doesn't require experience - we will train you! If you have CNA, in-home helper, or companion experience - that's a plus! As a Caregiver, you can expect to:

• Provide clients emotional and physical support
• Ensure clients are engaged through conversation, games, and other activities
• Assist with activities of daily living including:
  • Companionship and moral support
  • Coping with the routines of everyday life
  • Planning and preparing meals
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Personal hygiene and grooming
  • Dressing and bathing assistance
  • Reminding to take medication
  • Assisting with exercise
  • Running errands
• Report client changes and act quickly in emergency situations
• Be reimbursed mileage for client transportation

• 18 years or older
• A current Driver's License
• Personal reliable transportation and:
  • Willingness to transport clients in your personal reliable transportation. You will be reimbursed for mileage.
  • Current auto insurance and the ability to maintain auto insurance while employed at Visiting Angels.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to provide personal cares such as toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Compassionate, professional, and patient
• No experience required - we will train you!

• $15.00 - $17.50 per hour. Compensation based on experience and/or CNA certification.

• Overnight shifts options:
  • 8 or 12 hour shifts
  • Weekday or weekend
