Certified Medication Aide - Overnight - 3rd Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our overnight care team at our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The CMA will be responsible for safely administering medications, monitoring residents’ health, and providing exceptional care in a supportive, resident-centered environment. This is a full-time overnight position, ideal for someone who thrives in a team-focused setting and enjoys making a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, state regulations, and community policies.
• Observe and document residents’ responses to medications and report any changes or concerns to the nurse on duty.
• Assist residents with daily living activities as needed, including personal care, mobility, and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate and timely medication and care documentation.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure high-quality care.
• Respond to overnight resident needs, emergencies, or changes in condition promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain CMA certification and enhance skills.

• Current 40‑hour Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Nebraska.
• Previous experience in long‑term care, assisted living, or memory care is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during overnight shifts.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of residents with cognitive or memory impairments.
