Position:
Respiratory Therapist – Acute Care / NICU (W/C Tower-Level 3A)
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (06:30–19:00), every third weekend and holidays as scheduled
Start Date:
Must start before 2/8/26 Orientation: 36–48 hours (non-billable) Responsibilities Provide respiratory care for newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients Manage ventilators (invasive & non-invasive), arterial blood gases, protocols, and airway management Participate in Codes and Rapid Response May assist in C-sections, neonatal resuscitation, and high-frequency ventilation depending on competency Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 1 year in acute care Licensure/
Certifications:
NBRC – RRT required NE State Respiratory License required BLS & ACLS required PALS & NRP preferred Equipment Bipap (Vision/V60), Philips V60s, Servo ventilators, Fisher & Paykel heaters/Airvo, I-Stat, Pyxis, EPIC Other Info Floating:
Not required to West campus Dress Code:
Navy blue scrub tops, pewter/gray pants, solid-colored shoes, clean/appropriate appearance, tattoos covered Candidate Restrictions:
Must reside outside 50 miles; client may cancel 48 hours per 13 weeks
