American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT-CT certification for an acute care hospital setting performing CT and X-ray imaging.
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years experience required
- BLS certification and ARRT-CT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with GE CT scanners and Epic EMR
- Must not have artificial nails due to facility fingernail policy
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility and may not currently work full time, part time, or PRN at any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
- Driver's license required at time of consideration to verify permanent address and distance from facility
- Acute care hospital setting in the CT/X-ray department
- 13-week assignment with a Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-10:30 PM shift schedule
- Every third weekend on call or working, with rotating weeknight call
- Uses GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice CT scanners
- EMR used is Epic with McKesson for PACS
- May float to CT, X-ray, OR, Endo, and ED
- Varied weekend and holiday coverage requirements
- On-call/standby requirements with varied response times
- Perform varied imaging studies and duties across CT and X-ray modalities
- Receive 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation
- Radiation badge provided by facility
- Successful candidates are flexible, positive, and willing to learn
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested upfront per 13-week contract, with no additional RTO approved after submission
- Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year, though PRN work through outside staffing firms will be considered
