Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands-on role dedicated to aligning workforce strategies with operational goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Acting as a trusted advisor to both plant leadership and employees, the HRBP builds organizational and talent capabilities, supports a culture of safety, productivity, and engagement, and drives people-related strategies that enable operational excellence. This role spans the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to performance management, employee relations, and change initiatives—always with a focus on supporting a high-performance, safety-first production environment.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands-on role dedicated to aligning workforce strategies with operational goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Acting as a trusted advisor to both plant leadership and employees, the HRBP builds organizational and talent capabilities, supports a culture of safety, productivity, and engagement, and drives people-related strategies that enable operational excellence. This role spans the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to performance management, employee relations, and change initiatives—always with a focus on supporting a high-performance, safety-first production environment.

In this role, you will apply your HR expertise and manufacturing business acumen to proactively identify workforce challenges, recommend solutions, and partner with leadership to implement practical, scalable programs. You will work report directly to the Senior Manager, Human Resources and work closely with HR Centers of Excellence and site leadership to ensure HR strategies meet the unique demands of a 24/7, production-driven operation.



Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Plant & Operations Partnering – Collaborate with plant management to align staffing, training, and performance initiatives with production schedules and quality goals.
  • Workforce Planning & Talent Alignment – Anticipate labor needs, support cross-training initiatives, and ensure staffing levels meet operational requirements. Work with management to build individual development plans and career paths.
  • Onboarding & Skills Integration – Drive orientation and training programs that embed safety, quality, and productivity standards from day one.
  • Performance & Talent Management – Coach leaders on feedback, development, and retention strategies for both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Recruitment Support – Partner with Talent Acquisition to source, screen, and hire manufacturing and skilled trades talent.
  • Employee Relations & Investigations – Address employee concerns promptly, conduct investigations, and resolve issues in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Compensation & Shift Premium Guidance – Advise leadership on competitive pay structures, overtime rules, and shift differential practices.
Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with proven success in manufacturing, operations, or industrial settings.
  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried work forces in fast-paced, high-volume production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, workplace safety regulations (OSHA), and HR best practices.
  • Experience with employee relations, including investigations, resolutions, and collaborating with management/supervisors to determine the most appropriate outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders, manage change, and implement workforce initiatives that improve plant performance.
