- 4‑year degree or higher in computer science or technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position.
- U.S. citizen (required by client contract).
This position is in‑person in Kansas City, MO.
About the TeamThe Data Center Engineering team is a small, close‑knit group with diverse backgrounds. Teamwork is crucial as we deliver the best client experience and improve healthcare.
Responsibilities- Perform performance trend analysis and manage server/network capacity.
- React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools – escalating to management when appropriate.
- Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system.
- Maintain support documentation.
- Replace failed server components, upgrade servers, and proactively maintain hardware for efficient performance.
- Respond to client emergencies in Oracle Health’s data centers, acting as the last line of defense before server hardware.
- Quickly replace completely failed client machines to minimize redundancy loss or outage.
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors; act as a bridge between Oracle Health Application & Infrastructure and contractors.
- Maintain a spare parts inventory with Data Center Capacity and Asset Management.
Hiring Range: $27.02–$54.13 per hour; $56,200–$112,600 per year. Eligible for equity.
